Internal Job Title: QA Analyst 

Location:    Timonium, MD  - Need Locals only

Duration: 6 Months

 

Details of Position:

This position requires an individual with excellent SQA skills that include experience with all phases of the software development life cycle methodology and testing. Individual will assist in the definition, execution, and documentation of quality assurance activities for software products at UPS. Applicant must be able to work effectively in a team environment with other QA personnel, developers, and

user representatives. Applicant must have excellent oral communication skills to interact with users and other team members.

 

Management Skills:

Individual will be a member of the test team reporting to and being given direction from Test Lead. Applicant must have excellent written communication skills to be able to write manual test cases from functional requirements and specifications, concise and understandable project defects against product, and other technical materials. Experience using defect and tracking reporting tools (i.e. PVCS Tracker)

required. Experience creating basic commands using Microsoft Access or Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Manager/Query Manager a plus.

 

 

Additional Skills:

SQL Language - Intermediate

Technical Knowledge of Hardware & Software - Advanced

Mercury QTP - Advanced

Microsoft Office - Advanced
