Cognos Architect
Terms: 3 month contract
Location: Hartford, CT
Work Status: Authorized to work in the US

Job Description:
immediate opening for a Cognos Architect. This resource will responsible for leading the formulation and application strategy, as the technical lead across multiple projects. The Cognos Architect will work with business leaders to design complex dashboard and reporting solutions that will meet performance standards for both web and mobile devices. They will plan and manage the high-level architecture strategy and design work. The Cognos Architect will then translate these design decisions into implementable solutions/technical designs and work with an offshore team to develop and implement them.
Must Have Skills:
- 10+ years of IT experience, with solid management and leadership skills.
- 5-10 years of functional architect or technical lead experience in Cognos BI 10.1.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain and present complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
