Job description
· 5 years Development Experience as Data Migration consultant with BackOffice Associates Cransoft (BOA Cransoft)
· Experience with Cransoft Data Migration Toolset
· Experience in Microsoft SQL (queries, table structures etc)
· Good experience with SAP in general and SAP HR in specific
· Leverage Cransoft Toolset to automate manual processes where appropriate
· Assist in preparing the business for managing master data during migration and post go live.
· Responsible for data management activities, including Data Assessment, cleansing and Data conversion
· Responsible for data migration and conversion activities such as extracting, migrating and reconciliation of data
· Develop Data load tools using BOA Cransoft tool set
· Assist the business and internal project team in completing the data reconciliation.
· Communicate with the business and internal project team while defining the data management standards with data quality.
POSITION : SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER ETL/BI (TABLEAU)-----LOCATION: SUNNYVALE, CA-----DURATION: LONGTERM CONTRACT
Job Description:
· You will have responsibility for design and implementation of Reports/Dashboards using BI tool – Tableau with highest quality. The reports and dashboard will be served from a web portal. The responsibility includes web development and ETL. This individual will be interfacing with Product Management, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Operations, and other development teams.
Requirements:
- At least 8-10 years of experience in software development, preferably in RDBMS, BI tools and ETL.
- Demonstrated experience in BI tools – specifically Tableau. Designed and implemented reports and dashboards. Experience with other BI tools is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of database design and SQL – MySQL and Oracle.
- Experience in OLAP cubes is a plus.
- Web development experience on Java stack preferred.
- Experience in Google Visualization is preferred.
- Experience with the following products and technologies: Linux, Jetty, Web Services, Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScritps.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Excellent software development practice, including sprint models.
- Team player, flexible, adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
