Position: Storage Architect

Location: Lake Forest, IL

Duration: 6+ Months

TECHNICAL ARCHITECT – BACKUP & RECOVERY SERVICE

Knowledge & Experience

·         10 to 15 years' experience in Technical Solutions Consulting and Full Lifecycle development.

·         Proven ability to consult, design and architect solutions, project plan and manage delivery of projects.

·         Project leadership skills, excellent communication, planning, and presentation skills. (executive level)

·         Flexibility to be able to work at both design & detailed technical level within the focus area of products   & technology & be able to advise client on effect of future technology changes

·         Experience of working on large enterprise storage and backup projects.

·         Proven Customer service skills

·         Supporting Symantec Enterprise Vault, backup Exec and Netbackup solution within an enterprise environment. (Netbackup Version 7.x, 6.x)

·         SME level knowledge Symantec Enterprise Vault /Netback up/Backup, Data Domain

·         Design & implementation of Symantec products and related technologies.

·         Effective written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences

·         A degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.

Position: VMware Architect

Location: Lake Forest, IL

Duration: 6+ Months

Experience  ( Essential )

·         Engineering Degree with 8-11 years in IT

·         Strong knowledge on VMware Technologies(ESX all versions, ESXi, VSphere, Desktop Virtualisation)

·         Should have prior experience in virtualization readiness assessment.

·         Should have previous experience on design, implementation, migration / Upgrade virtual infrastructure based on VMware.

·         Strong knowledge on cloud technologies

·         Should have sound knowledge on converged Infrastructure such as vBlock / Flexpod & also on UCS, HP Bladesystems.

·         Should have sound knowledge & hands-on experience of MS Windows OS & MS Active Directory.

·         Strong hands-on implementation experience on VMware technologies like ESX, VDIs.

·         Sound knowledge & previous experience of using virtualization tools such as VMware capacity planner, PLATESPIN, CiRBA etc…

·         Previous hands-on experience in managing supporting (administration) of virtual infrastructure based on VMware.

·         Extensive knowledge on VMware Cluster and DR environments. 

·         Virtual Desktop implementation knowledge is added advantage.

·         Good Communication skills

·         Process orientation

·         Good and effective written and oral communication
