Position: MicroStrategy Admin, MicroStrategy Developer and MicroStrategy Architect

Location: New Jersey

Duration: 6-12 Months

Billing: C2C and W2 are OK

Job Description:

1)      MicroStrategy Admin & developer(Architect) profile

·         Hands-on experience on Administration tools viz. intelligence severs and narrowcast server.

·         Experience using Enterprise manager monitoring, auditing and performance tuning and VLDB settings. 

·         Experience in development & integration which will include setting up configuration management, developing components, peer review, creating unit test plans & performing unit testing.

·         Clustering I-Servers and Web Servers, MicroStrategy 9.X experience is preferred

·         Experience on Intelligent Cube Development, Custom widget, visualization development and implementation.

·         Hands of experience on Project creation, schema objects creation, Development of queries, documents & dashboards with flex based widgets.

2) MicroStrategy Admin Profile

·         Perform administrative tasks of the MicroStrategy platform

·         Maintain MicroStrategy components deployed on Linux or Windows

·         Perform project migrations across environments

·         Setup new projects, security groups, roles, ACLs

·         Install new releases and HotFixes

·         Configure environments

·         Define and implement governing policies

·         Preventive maintenance

·         Monitor the system

·         Recommend and implement best practices

·         Perform project backup and restores

·         Work independently on projects with guidance from team leads and architects

·         Automating Administrative tasks

·         Provide thorough estimate of efforts.

3)      MicroStrategy Developer Profile

·         MicroStrategy report and dashboard development

·         Participate in the design, build, release and deployment procedures

·         Develop and maintain reporting solutions

·         Provide technical leadership and development for MicroStrategy suite of tools

·         Maintain ongoing functionality of MicroStrategy software and hardware environments

·         Perform problem assessment, resolution and documentation 

·         Validate data returned in all reports, provide a detailed analysis of data, and identify data quality issues

·         Tune MicroStrategy reports for best SQL performance and efficiency

·         Create ad-hoc reports as requested

·         Document new development, procedures, or test plans as needed
