Job Title: SOA Application Architect

Job Location: Camp Hill, PA

Duration: 6 Months+

 

Job Description:

• Must have minimum of 8 years of Architect experience

• Must have BS in a Technology field

• Experience designing and working with n-tier architectures and service-oriented architectures (SOA). (3+ Years)

• Deep knowledge of application development using VB.NET and/or C# with the.NET Framework using ASP.NET, AJAX, WCF Services, LINQ, and ADO.NET (6+ Years)

• Deep knowledge of application development using RDBMS products; Oracle is a plus (6+ Years)

• Experience with integration products such as webMethods, BizTalk and MSMQ (3+ Years)

• Experience with ORM tools such as Repository Factory, Entity Framework and NHibernate is a plus (2+ Years)

• Experience with performance profiling and tuning all tiers/layers of an application (4+ Years)

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral

• Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills

• Strong understanding of OOA, OOD & OOP principles

• Strong understand of design patterns and quality development practices

 

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

This candidate will be a key technologist for the implementation and/or support of various client applications. Responsibilities include defining the application architecture, working with the Solutions Architect, other Application Architects, and Business Analysts to address high-level functional requirements and coach the Application Engineering team in the development of the application solution. Not only will candidates be joining a project team, they will be joining a team of resources dedicated to delivering client engagements from an off-site location focused on common tools, technologies, and methodologies.
