Looking for a Mid to Sr. level Java/Developer to sit out of their Hudson, OH or Indianapolis, IN office. This position will be more of a take direction and program role. It is a 6 month contract that can get extended up to 2 years.
Required:
Top Three Skills: Java, J2EE, Spring MVC
• Strong overall software development background using Java
• 4 - 6 years prior work experience as a Java developer
• Proficient with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Experience with application performance monitoring and tuning.
• Proficient in programming languages, scripting languages, as well as markup standards including Java/Java EE , JavaScript, XML/HTML and Spring (especially Spring MVC).
Plus:
• Familiarity with Oracle, MySql, SQLite a plus
• Familiarity with the following: XSLT, PHP, PL/SQL, XPath, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Ajax, Glassfish, Git, Eclipse, Regular Expressions a Plus.
Looking for a Developer strong in Java Web Application Development. This will primarily be all new development. Need strong background in working in a Unix/Linux environment and with application development, performance monitoring and tuning. Since this project primarily revolves around new development, looking for a Senior level Java Developer who has a strong understanding of Concepts of Architecture, who can explain the difference between Database Layer and Service Layer, and who can explain Objects. They need someone who can work as a peer to the current Senior Engineers and Management in establishing processes and procedures and who can bring ideas and suggestions to the table. They have a QA Testing team to perform the testing but the developer needs to have fully SDLC experience.
