Job Title: Interactive/Front End Development Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 3 months
Interactive Development Manager or Front End Development Manager
Skill and Role Summary:
Oversee front end development for a large marketing website for all of Sony's products and business units. Ensure work is delivered on time, visually accurate and functionally sound across all supported browsers, devices and platforms.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Work with design to review viability of new visual and functional concepts. Work with project management to evaluate and estimate scope, and create low-level project plans for development team. Oversee and mentor development team with daily check-ins and code reviews. Work with QA to vet reported issues and ensure valid bugs are properly managed and resolved.
Requirements:
Deep knowledge of:
- JavaScript (OOP)
- HTML (all flavors)
- CSS (1-3)
- Cross-browser compatibility
- Browser performance analysis
Experience with libraries/frameworks/preprocessors such as:
- jQuery
- RequireJS
- Modernizr
- Jade
- CoffeeScript
- LESS or SASS
