| Roles & Responsibilities | The Application Support Analyst is responsible for resolving Tier 1,2 and 3 application issues that have been escalated through the call logging system, phone, email, or the Service Desk, communication with customers and providing internal testing of the production support releases. Support of Hydrocarbon Accounting application, including: • Initial support of incoming Application support tickets • Resolution of Tier 1 tickets • Release changes to supported systems through the Change Management process • Provide applications support and guidance which may include service packs, upgrades and infrastructure • Maintain appropriate levels of technical and procedural documentation • Conduct application monitoring and performance tuning • Work with project teams to investigate complex issues, identify and implement solutions to re-occurring problems • Share/spread knowledge throughout the Support Team and relevant areas, from development through to support |
| Generic Managerial Skills | Should have good communication and should have worked with offshore engagements. |
| Education | Engineering Graduate. Preferably Petroleum or Oil and Gas Domain - Good grasp of the principles of application design - Experience in maintenance & support of applications - 3+ years of practical work experience using Hydrocarbon Accounting – (Energy Component) - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral - Knowledge of Oil & Gas Domain – Upstream, Nominations |
