Job Title: Web Developer

Location: Bank, Washington, DC

Duration: 6 months with potential for extension.

Rate: $60/hr on 1099 or C2C

Client: World Bank/IFC

Visa Status: Only GC and US Citizenship

 

Background-General Description:

Senior developer to develop the user interface and workflow for an in house SQL Database project. This workflow will be used by division infrastructure team members that require data center staging, cabling and racking services.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop and maintain existing code/scripts.

Develop documentation to document for design/code.

Participate in reviews of system architecture, and design documents.

Effectively communicate development activities and findings in oral and written formats.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements:

OO design and development

Experience in developing ASP.NET based web applications

Experience using MS SQL Server and MS Access

Knowledge of web technologies like Web Services, HTML, XML, AJAX, REST, JavaScript and JQuery

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred:

Experience with web services programming in the context of web applications

Experience with Microsoft IIS 7/8 configuration and administration.

Experience working with iterative development methodologies in an enterprise environment

Education:

BS in Computer Science (CS), Engineering or equivalent or pursuing BS in CS, Engineering or equivalent
