Position: SAS developer with Netezza and GreenPlum

Location: NY

Duration: 6 Months

Must have prior experience with Base SAS, SAS/MACRO, SAS/CONNECT, Netezza/ GreenPlum SQL and R. Candidates should have an understanding of data collection and extraction techniques. Specific requirements include:

• Candidate should be an Advanced SAS Developer for SAS 9 UNIX server • Minimum 3+ years of working experience on SAS as a developer.

• 3 years+ of SAS experience (academic or professional), including Base SAS, SAS/MACRO, SAS/SQL, SAS/CONNECT • 3 years+ of Advanced SQL experience including Netezza and GreenPlum • Must work productively, have the ability to meet deadlines, and possess strong time management skills.

• Ability to understand complex challenges, evaluate and set priorities, and develop creative and practical solutions • Ability to develop rapport with client management and maintain strong working relationships.

• Excellent understanding of data manipulation and linkage of datasets.

• Experience in large data sets/processing preferred • Strong communication and documentation skills • Highly self-motivated, results oriented, and capable of independent and critical thinking and problem solving

The following would be considered a plus:

• Existing market analytics and compliance knowledge, especially in the area of regulatory reports and surveillances.

• Aptitude and ability for, or prior experience with, programming tools such as SQL, HTML, Tabulations & Analysis • SAS Certification

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
