Primary Skills : 10+ years IT experience.
:Informatica Cloud, Informatica Power Center. Good with SQL's, Excellent Communication
Secondary Skills : Microsoft SSIS
Project objectives:
· Setup Best Practices on Informatica Power Center Vs. Informatica Cloud è Hybrid development approach
· Setup the existing organization with well-defined processes for future development / implementations in Informatica cloud
· Train the teams on using Informatica Cloud instance
· Define the framework for migrating SSIS packages to Informatica
Detailed Job description:
· Resource should have experience and knowledge of both Informatica Power Center and Cloud
o Hybrid approach of when to use Informatica Power Center Vs. Cloud
· Best Practices
o Informatica Cloud setup and usage
o SDLC / Development approach
o Pre-processing / Post processing (data loading and manipulation approach in Informatica – to be done initially or finally while delivering)
o Scalable model approach
o Encryption in Cloud
o Usage of environments (development, QA, prod) with optimal configuration.
o DBA role Vs. Developer role to reboot server or access – control roles during peak size of 25
o FTP file transfer in Informatica Cloud
· Risks and common limitation of Informatica Cloud
· Batch mode processing in Informatica Cloud - need for VB/Scripting to implement batch processing in Cloud
· Experience with cloud Connectors (like Excel connector)
· Scheduler experience to monitor jobs
· Pipeline of Informatica Cloud releases => Features to expect, benefits to Actelion, best practices etc.
· Set up the existing organization with processes well-defined for all future implementations
o Build control on environment
· Train the Actelion teams on using Informatica Cloud instance
· Define the framework for migrating SSIS packages to Informatica
o Include the SSIS to Informatica conversion in hybrid approach
