Title: Senior Micro Strategy Consultant

Location: Baltimore, MD

Duration: Multiple years (Ongoing)

Mode of hire: Temp to Perm (FTE after 6 Months)

Citizenship: US Citizen/Green Card Holder/ EAD

Things to note: This is a very senior level position. Candidates do not have to be local but, must be willing to relocate at own expense to Baltimore or travel to Baltimore 5 days a week on own expense. The candidate would be expecting as a FTE after 6 Months.

Description

Our Client is looking for a Senior MicroStrategy consultant to join our Data Analytics division.  This consultant will be responsible for supporting full lifecycle system development projects for customers in the federal government. The candidate should have experience in the full lifecycle from requirements gathering though deployment of BI solutions using MicroStrategy. The resource will develop prototypes for converting legacy BI systems onto the MicroStrategy platform and may be required to provide operations and maintenance support for large scale MicroStrategy deployments. They must be self starters that can work independently and will also work within a larger team environment. Work will be performed at the client site in Baltimore, MD.

Must Have Skills:

·         At least 8 years of IT experience

·         At least 4 years of experience using MicroStrategy, including Microstrategy 9

·         Full lifecycle implementation experience for MicroStrategy BI solutions

·         Experience developing complex reports and dashboards

·         Experience interacting directly with end users and client stakeholders

·         Experience architecting solutions using MicroStrategy

·         Experience facilitating requirements gathering for reports and dashboards

·         Excellent communications skills

 Nice to Have:

·         Experience working with the Federal Government

·         Experience working with other BI tools (i.e., Oracle BI, InformationBuilders)

·         Experience converting BI solutions from a legacy BI tool into MicroStrategy
