URGENT NEED - Websphere Administrator – NJ/TX
Duration: 10 Months
Rate - $45-48/hr
MUST have 7 + years of experience in the related field
Responsibilities:
The Websphere Administrator is responsible for the day to day operation and support of the Websphere Application server platforms and all of its components.
Deploy applications to production and non-production environments.
Apply and promote IBM Websphere patches to all environments.
Troubleshoot application server issues related to the platform.
Work with network administrator to maintain DNS & DMZ addresses and rules
Produce documentation related to infrastructure and architecture of web systems.
Produce project related documentation and provide estimates to the Project Lead or Manager for work to be completed.
Plan, document and execute disaster recovery exercises of the web environments.
Become familiar with IT operations and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
