Urgent Need of a .Net/SQL Architect

Description:

The .NET Architect is responsible for the strategic architectural design of Enterprise applications across the ConocoPhillips network. This position will oversee projects throughout the Software Development Lifecycle and will report directly to the Supervisor of Application Architecture. They will provide senior-level guidance for .NET application development and serve as a subject-matter expert within the Architecture Center of Excellence. Day-to-day, this position will be required to manage several projects simultaneously, each at a different stage of the SDLC. This position is located full-time in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and may require daily remote communication and coordination with stakeholders and resources throughout the globe.

Responsibilities may include:

• Transform business requirements into technical specifications to be consumed by onshore/offshore developers
• Refine the application design iteratively alongside departmental leads and specialists including Business Analysts, Project Managers, Design Authorities, Technology Specialists, Developers, Quality Control Specialists, and Solution Integrators
• Maintain and evolve reference architectures based on emerging industry trends and technologies
• Work with cross functional development teams to gain deep understanding of functional and non-functional requirements and provide technical designs and guidance to build these systems
• Develop .NET architectural standards, guidelines, and procedures for the Center of Excellence
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while upholding industry best-practices and ensuring continuity with ConocoPhillips regulations
• Document technical designs, using flow charts, class diagrams, functional view outlines, activity diagrams, data flow diagrams, database schemas, descriptive software component documentation, and wireframes
• Participate and support project teams to understand the business strategies and to ensure the success of application solutions
• Mentor other members of the staff with hands-on development work in high-pressure, time sensitive situations
• Actively participate in the development of ConocoPhillips Global Enterprise Solutions

Qualifications: 

Basic/Required:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 3+ years of direct experience in a Lead or Architect role at an Enterprise scale
• 5+ years working within a Waterfall or Agile development group
• 5+ years of development experience with Microsoft.NET technologies such as C#, WebServices, IIS
• Demonstrate senior-level knowledge of service oriented architecture and the distributed systems approach
• Good knowledge of design patterns and Object Oriented Programming
• Experienced in creating UML diagrams
• Experienced in Web 2.0 technologies like JQuery, Javascript etc
• Familiar with REST
