General Summary:
Infrastructure - Windows Senior Admin windows
• familiar with Microsoft Windows 2003 / 2008 server administration and troubleshooting
• preferably MCSE certified.
• familiar with Global Active Directory, VMware Virtualization, CITRIX Applications, SAN Storage and SQL Database would be added advantage
• able to work in USA time-zone. This is mandatory.
• Experienced in maintaining Active Directory and ADAM.
• Monitor all Windows servers for performance issues and stability concerns.
• Administer web users and hosting accounts.
• Regular application installations, configurations, and day-to-day administration.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise.
• Working with and troubleshooting all of the following, including, but not limited to: SMTP, SNMP, SNTP, POP, FTP, SSL, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, IIS, telnet, SFTP, DNS, RDP, TCP, ICMP, and UDP.
• Use knowledge of each of the above listed technologies as related to the issue at hand.
• Use and maintain zone file for name servers.
• Work with basic applications and their ports: backup, MSSQL, MySQL.
• Work with permissions in Microsoft Server 2003 to 2008.
• Setup and maintain Open Database Connectivity.
• Work with, troubleshoot, and diagnose ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, CGI, and Perl languages.
• Root cause analyst - Document issues and associated resolutions to problems
