Brief Job details:
Acts as an expert technical resource for IRT development teams. Acts in a strategic role in the development and maintenance of architectures for the IRT application while insuring alignment to Wealth, Retirement, and Trust compliance. Responsible for reviewing and approving architectural impact designs and communicating the architecture to both management and affected related systems. Serves as the highest-level technical consultant to internal clients and technical management. Assists in the evolution of software architecture frameworks and infrastructure technology to aid development and integration efforts for faster time to market. Responsible for hands on delivery of solution architecture and engineering deliverables associated with key initiatives within the IRT platform. Act as architect lead in to assist and partner in co-developing strategic technology direction.
Required Skills:
- At least 5 years' experience assisting in the design and Implementation of SOA Applications
- Requires expertise in SOA architecture and development practices
- Strong J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Oracle Database Skills (RDMS)
- Experience with UI/Web framework such as GWT, Struts, Spring MVC
- Hands on experience with Eclipse, SVN/CVS, JUnit, Maven
- Use of J2EE design patterns and messaging (JMS/MQ)
- Experience with Websphere and IBM Portal.
