National Atlanta based retail organization is looking to add a Warehouse Management Business Analyst to their team for a 12 month assignment.
As the WMS Business Analyst your responsibilities include:
- Eliciting requirements for enhancements to existing process or creating requirements for new systems or projects
- Creating process flows, use cases and system diagrams
- Developing requirements traceability verification matrix (RTVM)
- Creating project objectives/plans for individual contribution
- Communicating necessary project status to project manager and leads
- Assist with training and roll out plans for new systems or enhancements to existing systems
- Create and/or maintain process and configuration documentation
- Review or create testing plans, script, and cases
Skills required:
- Ability to write basic sql statements to Oracle databases
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) knowledge of greater than three years with a software provider like Manhattan Associates, Red Prairie, Sterling Commerce/IBM, Oracle/Retek, Catalyst, EXE, etc
- Prefer Manhattan WMS Open Systems experience
- Thorough understanding of warehouse functional processing from an operational and technology perspective
- 3+ years of supporting configuration and testing of third party WMS System
- Knowledgeable of WMS tables behind the scenes
- Ability to smoothly interface with business partners to elicit and document requirements that may cross multiple functional areas and identify gaps.
- Ability to document complex process modeling and translate user needs into business and functional requirements.
- Must be logical, analytical, and detail orientated.
- Experience conducting detailed research and analysis including definition of business requirements.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually
