Tirle: Build Manager

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 3+ Months

Req Details:

Should have clear understanding and working knowledge of Clearcase and how it relates to application releases.  (creating branches, create labels, as it pertains to releases)
• Strong understanding to SDLC and how it relates to the build and deployment process.
• Should have strong leadership skills - should have strong exposure to customer facing role and working with different teams with different goals and objectives.
• Ability to work independently and in team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Oversee and manage code migration and merge of work items into multiple work streams while ensuring production integrity.
• Work closely with project managers to schedule releases, deployments, and refreshes.
• Create and manage change management tickets with appropriate documentation (Method Of Promotion/Implementation plan, etc) and be ready to discuss in a Change control board environment.
• Ensure the application environment is not unduly impacted by other changes (HW, interfaces, etc) and communicate and escalate appropriately.
• Oversee code reviews between work stream teams
• Work closely with the testing team to ensure all work items in a release are being properly tested.
• Oversee, coordinate and enforce environmental refreshes for all lower environments.
• Communicate application changes with all teams involved (AM, DBA, interfaces, IM, etc)
• Communicate status and escalate issues
• Working knowledge of Maximo EAM a plus.
