Providing technical expertise to design most efficient and cost effective solutions for Oracle-based database systems Capacity planning, sizing and designing
Providing DBA support for development and QA/performance databases
Database design, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, database backup and recovery, SQL statement tuning, and Unix shell scripting
Extensive experience with RMAN, OEM/GRID Control, and Data Guard
Switchover / failover procedure using Data Guard (physical / logical)
Oracle RAC cluster upgrades from 10g to 11gr2
Oracle database upgrades and Character Set conversion and migration on different platforms
