Required Skills :

The individual selected will provide data direction to project team members who design database solutions for system initiatives. They will ensure that database solutions delivered by projects, impacting business subject areas, are of high quality, integrated, and capable of supporting current and future enterprise requirements. 
Specifically , the Data Lead will Provide data direction to project team members and other Systems professionals.
Tasks and responsibilities include the following: 

o Partners with the Business Architect and Application Lead in application and transaction design
o Responsible for providing direction and ensuring all data architecture artifacts are created for the various CAB gates (conceptual model, logical model, physical model, data flow diagram, data topology, data mapping, etc.)
o Identify and create ADD/ADS where needed.
o Defines data placement strategy for databases ensuring alignment to the Authoritative Source Data Strategy and enterprise data architectural vision.
o Accountable and responsible for providing data items for a product specific Chevron.
o Understands integration points between other products within GFS as well as outside the Solution Centers. 
o Partners with application leads to define data replication strategy for databases aligned to GFS data architectural vision
o Partners with GFS principle consultant to ensure compliance and adoption of technical engineering data patterns and guidance.
o Promotes the data review process 
o Ensures that team members have access to training to increase knowledge and understanding in the data space
o The Data Lead will be available to project team members as the Communication/Escalation point for data related issues.
o Communicate data target architecture to the product teams
o Escalation point to the execution layer
