Dynamics AX PM

 

•                   Job Title: Dynamics AX PM

•                   Location: Redmond, WA

•                   Start Date: ASAP

•                   Duration: 1 Year

•                   Skills Required: Dynamics AX

 

Some of the key responsibilities of this key role include:

 

•                   Manage a mid-size team of programmers, business analysts, Testers, in both co-located as well as remote staffing scenarios.

•                   Manage AX implementations, enhancements and upgrades, and ensure that the projects are running effectively

•                   The ideal Candidate should have at least 1 year of hands-on AX experience, PM experience with at least 1 AX FLC implementations preferred

•                   Acts as primary liaison and meets with the client to ensure clear work plan objectives, and monitors and communicates deadlines

•                   Establishes positive, professional relationship with client managers and staff,

•                   Establishes proper communication channels with client personnel, responds appropriately to all client concerns

•                   Maintains effective relations with the client through regularly scheduled verbal and written project status reports

•                   Manages all assigned resources to accomplish client deliverables within the identified project deadlines.

•                   Takes responsibility for the Sonata team

•                   Conducts/participates in regular team meetings to promote project progress. Monitors project status and surfaces internally

•                   Understands and adheres to established project management policies and procedures, including meeting project budgets, status reports, and documentation

•                   Develops project scope and structure. Helps manage the project goals and participates in changing customer expectations when these goals change

•                   Orients consultants to client environment. Provides consultants with written services description, project plan and contracted deliverables before assignments

•                   Allocates tasks consistent with assigned consultant's expertise and monitors the progress

•                   Provides the necessary tools and training to Team members to accomplish assigned tasks

•                   Notifies Consulting Manager of the need for additional and/or specific resources, as required

•                   Provides consultant evaluations at the end of their project assignments

•                   Recognizes possible solutions to business problems and selects the most appropriate solution

•                   Challenges current business practices to ensure the best alternative for the client

•                   Able to surface information at various levels and align the messages to different stakeholders

 AX Specific

 

•                   Must know the general AX architecture

•                   Must be aware of the 2 tier integration and/or third party integrations supported

•                   Should be able to deliver business solutions that are adopted on global scale

•                   Must be aware of the AX configurations and setups

•                   Should be aware of AX supported toolsets, technologies and frameworks (example – Enterprise Portal, AX SSRS/AX-BI)

•                   Awareness on AX modules like Finance, Trade & Logistics, SCM

Dynamics AX – BI Consultant: Strong AX technical candidates will fit.

•                   Start date: 12 AUG 13

•                   End Date- 31 July 14  (extendable)

•                   Location – Redmond, WA

 

1.       Understanding of AX OLTP schema for Project Accounting, Expense Management & Human Resources

2.       Experience in MorphX development (forms, data dictionary, classes, etc.)

3.       Experience in creating physical data models based on logical model & requirement documents as inputs

4.       Should have worked with functional consultants to develop design documents for BI & Reporting needs

5.       Good understanding of AX-SSRS & AX cubes framework capabilities

6.       Experience in customizing any of the existing AX BI cubes

7.       Good understanding of operational & analytical reporting principles

8.       Experience in SSRS reports development is an added advantage

9.       Good communication skills

 

 

AX2012 Functional Consultant with Project Module experience

 

•                   Title – AX2012 Functional Consultant with Project Module experience

•                   Location- Redmond, WA

•                   Duration- 1 year

 

JD:

 

•                   Excellent hands on experience in AX 2012 modules – project management and all other linked modules – THIS IS A MUST HAVE REQUIREMENT

•                   Good communication skills

•                   Should be able to map requirements in DAX and identify work around where required

•                   Good documentation skills

•                   Should be able to conduct AX demonstration to business users and respond to queries

•                   Should have good experience of working on AX 2012overall , doesn't need to be a 20 years experienced guy, but should have all the above skills.
