Overview:
The role of the Project Manager is to manage the development and implementation process of projects involving departmental or cross functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing Security related projects. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also create required deliverables based on the client's project life cycle.

Overview:
The role of the Project Manager is to manage the development and implementation process of projects involving departmental or cross functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing Security related projects. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also create required deliverables based on the client's project life cycle.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- 5 years of project management experience
- 8-10 years of overall IT experience
- Win Server, Infrastructure control projects
- Audit / regulatory work
- Ideal candidate should have experience leading a small team witihin the investment banking industry. Candidate must also have experience with a VOIP implementation.
- Experience in planning, communication, and execution of IT infrastructure projects to include network / server installations, upgrades and implementations.
- Experience with standing up or operating within a Security Operations Center and working directly with CSOC and CSIRT
- Understanding of security principles including Firewalls, IDS, IPS, VPN, Remote Access, and Vulnerability Management
- Deep experience with MS Office including Project and VISIO
- Excellent experience with SDLC and application development lifecycles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively at all levels of the organization and with vendors.
- Able to coordinate professionals facing conflicting priorities.
PMP certified preferred
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Excellent English -- written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to balance a large workload and perform multiple, concurrent activities in a fast paced and multi-site, global team environment
Ability to maintain flexibility in a dynamic organization
Ability to maintain updated knowledge of procedures, products and activities of assigned area and to share job knowledge expertise as appropriate
Logical Access projects, either deployments or reviews
