Job Description :-

Government Client has a long term contract assignment (10 Months) for Java Portal Developer in New York, NY.

Description:
The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in analysis, design, coding, testing, and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software to achieve desired results and document appropriate aspects of those deliverables. Develops and enhances complex software from general requirements and specifications. Analyzes complex technical system problems. Performs complex source code development. Maintainable, effective, defect free code that meets business requirements and team standards

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.

• Portal development experience (ideal candidate will have Oracle Web Center Portal or Oracle Portal, but any portal development experience will be accepted
• Development experience using Html, Ajax, JavaScript, Oracle ADF and JQuery
• Experience with Spring, web services using Java EE stack
• SR 168 Portlet Specifications and development of Portlets
• Strong debugging skills
• Ability to comprehend UML designs
• Experience in profiling tools like JProbe
• Experience in using JDeveloper and/or Eclipse
• Experience in using Sub Version (Configuration Management Tool)
• Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) experience a plus
• Over 3-5 years of prior experience working as a Java developer
