C # / WPF Developer
Location: New York City , NY
Job duties:
The candidate will be responsible for design and development of Trader Application and should Work
closely with the business and core framework team. He/She should contribute to the development of a shared
C# GUI framework, platform-level tools, and other re-usable components.
Education/Experience:
- BS in computer science or equivalent field with 5+ years of work experience/ Masters in computer science equivalent field with 3+ years of experience
- 3+ years experience in building high performance, low latency, message driven applications with full recovery and resiliency
- 2+ years experience designing and developing order management platforms
- FIX protocol knowledge
- Equities, Options experience is a plus
Required technical skills:
- C#, WPF, Java, multi-threaded programming and knowledge of developer and using shared memory
C# – 8+ years is required
WPF – 4+ year is required
- TCP/IP sockets programming
- Middleware products – TIBCO, JMS, Solace
- Relational Databases (Sybase, Oracle, MySQL) and SQL knowledge
Misc:
- Must have strong communication skills and have demonstrated success working in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills are a must
- Financial industry experience is a plus (esp. Equity trading)
