Summary

Sr. Oracle Webcenter  architect with hands-on experience in implementing the technical and infrastructure architecture for a scalable, performant and highly available Webcenter Portal and COntent Solution 

Essential roles and responsibilities

•    Collaborate with the technical and functional team to understand the business and performance requirements to define a detailed sizing of the infrastructure components required to support the implementation of Oracle Webcenter and COntent Platform
•    In coordination with the infrastructure team install and configure the Oracle Webcenter platform required to support the business requirements
•   Review the application design and implementation of the Webcenter platform including integration to other applications, to ensure scalability, performance and supportability of the solution
•    Provide guidance and support as required to the other team members to successfully implement and migrate existing systems to Webcenter 
•    Provide necessary support for the installation and implementation of the Webcenter platform across all the environments 
•    Define and implement a HA, failover and backup strategy for each of the environments based on defined requirements
•    Lead and execute the migration and deployment of solution configurations across environments, using automation as a key criteria.
•    Provide support to analyze and perform necessary configurations to performance tune the environment including the OS, database, and the WEbcenter application on Weblogic. 
•    Act as the Subject Matter Expert in Root cause analysis and resolution for infrastructure issues identified in the application environment

Required experience and qualifications

•    Must have over 10 years of IT experience and 6+ years designing and implementing Oracle Webcenter  platform
•    Must have a thorough understanding of the Oracle Webcenter architecture including optimal configuration for the integration to other applications.
•    Must have experience in defining sizing to support the implementation of WEbcenter Portal and COntent application including experience with tuning of the application or optimal performance
•    Must have experience setting up web servers, file systems, LDAP security platforms and single sign-on configurations (Oracle OAM) with other enterprise applications
•    Must have good knowledge and experience installing and supporting Weblogic application servers and Oracle database platform
•    Must have excellent oral and written communications
•    Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
