Position: SharePoint Developer

Location : Chicago, IL

Duration: 12+ months

Senior Programmer – This person should have a minimum of 4+ years experience in SharePoint Development and good understanding on all the Administration tasks and over 6+ years working in Microsoft .NET framework.

These tasks will include:

•        .Net Development

•        Creating custom WebParts and InfoPath forums.

•        Silverlight application development

•        Workflow development

•        Participate in code reviews and use ClearCase to ensure weekly builds occur

•        Use clear quest to complete assigned task

Minimum/General Experience:

•         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience in similar work environment. Minimum 7 + years of IT work experience. Strong hands on experience with the Installation and implementation of multiple SharePoint Servers

Applicants are expected to have the following skill set:

•         Experience working with Server Side administration and troubleshooting of an integrated environment of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007/2010

•         Knowledge of Project Server and SharePoint 2007/2010 Architecture and all phases of SDLC involving Systems Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation.

•         Strong experience designing, developing and managing web applications in SharePoint using C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Visual Studio 2008/2010

•         Experience developing, designing and supporting real time mission critical applications.

•         Ability to create custom web parts in SharePoint 2010

•         Strong hands on experience with the Installation and implementation of multiple SharePoint Servers

•         Communication skills: strong presentation/communication/facilitation skills (oral and written).

•         Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation.

•         Preferable but not required:  Certification in SharePoint.

Preferred background

•         Blues background preferred.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field,

Microsoft SharePoint Certifications.
