Skills and Experience:
Required: WebSphere Application Support and Administration on AIX / Linux platform
Ideal: Experience with Sterling Commerce; Experience in retail IT; Experience with CA Introscope APM
Responsibilities:
• Participate in weekly 24*7 on call pager rotation
• Dedicated to a highly visible Retail Project
• Build, configure, support WebSphere Application Servers.
• Design, code WebSphere automation scripts and shell scripts.
• Compile new or update existing system documentation, support manuals, and SOP documents. (Standard Operation Process)
• Train off shore resources to provide 1st and 2nd level support
• Participate IT project meetings.
• Deliver problem resolutions for WebSphere middleware technical challenges for large and complex systems.
• Deliver weekly status report.
• Perform other technical tasks that Lowe's IT management assigns.
• Occasionally off hours onsite support during critical production implementations
