Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
. 3+ years' experience with SharePoint2010 including custom branding & Central Administration
. 3+ years' experience with CSS, .Net, C#, JavaScript, Ajax, and jQuery
. 3+ years' experience with Object Oriented methodology
. Ability to scope, design and implement technological solutions
. Solid technical aptitude, leadership and mentoring skills
. Strong analytical skills
. Strong verbal and written communication skills
Roles and responsibility
. Design business solutions for SharePoint collaboration sites and the Customer, Supplier, Employee Portals using Object Oriented methodology
. Develop business solutions for SharePoint collaboration sites and the Customer, Supplier, Employee Portals leveraging SharePoint .NET, C#, client scripting using JavaScript and jQuery, CSS as well as web-based skills and out-of-the-box SharePoint 2010 capabilities, such as Lists, XSLT
. Estimate effort and time required to complete various coding activities and manage to the resulting schedule
. Participate in code reviews
. Coordinate customer acceptance testing and ensure customer satisfaction through timely resolution of issues and ongoing communication
. Understand and adhere to the BNSF Project Management Methodology
. Provide rotating 24x7 on-call support for BNSF's SharePoint-based Customer, Supplier, Employee and Collaboration Portals
. Assess migration to a SharePoint 2013 cloud or on premise infrastructure & the impact to existing SharePoint 2010 solutions
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills
. Experience with PowerShell scripts
. Experience in Web Site development
. Experience in cloud-based solutions and architecture
. Experience with SharePoint2013 development
