Role:        .NET Developer
Duration: 3-6+ months
Location:  Buffalo, NY (LOCALS REQUIRED)
Phone interview/in person for locals.
 
Project Description:
  • Client is currently building a new site as well as they have multiple concurrent projects in the development and enhancement of internal business applications.
  • Analyze, code, and test simple to moderate modules for new programs and changes to existing   programs according to approved detailed technical designs and test cases.
  • Record test results in test management system and resolve identified defects as assigned.
  • Perform post-deployment verification per deployment procedures.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of appropriate programming languages and tools for supported systems.
  • Utilize document management system to maintain documentation.
  • Peer review work done by other team members.
  • Adhere to applicable process standards.
  • Utilize change management system to version code changes and follow approved change management processes.
  • Provide realistic estimates of own work
 
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of .NET experience, MVC framework experience ( MVC is Model-view-controller)
  • Excellent experience with C#, ASP.NET
  • Design develop and implement reusable objects
  • Experience with stored procedures, SQL queries and SQL Server DB as the backend
  • Experience with web services. Prefer SOA experience
  • Documentation experience with Visio and Word
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator and listener.
  • Good organizational skills
