- Manage complex projects through the design, development, testing and debugging phases of an application delivery cycle as well as designing and developing components of the service as an individual contributor.
Role and responsibilities:
- Use appropriate programming language and technology, writes code, completes programming and documentation, performs testing and debugging of applications for the enterprise.
- Provide technical and analytical input /guidance to project team and assist developers regarding project architecture and application programming practices.
- Manages individual projects and works as an individual contributor; is responsible for completing projects within allotted timeline.
- Assists with definition of project scope and objectives, as well as provides technical architecture input and coordinates programming practices of a project team, and identifies resource needs.
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates and status reports.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Ensures adherences to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
- Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, web, IPTV or Mobility related applications
- Interact with clients to gather and document project requirements, specifications and to determine technical feasibility.
- 5+ years of real-world experience managing projects and developing applications web based and/or Mobile on Windows and/or J2EE platforms. C/.NET or Java as appropriate.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Project Management
- Solid working knowledge of associated development environments: Visual Studio, Windows or Linux/Java. Concepts, Microsoft .NET 4.0/4.5(or relevant current version), C, ASP.NET, WCF, Silverlight 4.0, JavaScript, XML, Oracle or other SQL based DB, Visual Studio 2008 – 2010 or current version. Information Services(IIS).
- Implementation of Web Services and RESTFUL API's
- Strong Communication skills (oral/written)
- Demonstrated ability to identify real-world problems and develop technical solutions to solve them.
- Must be self-motivated, versatile, and have an ability to multi-task in a fast paced and constantly evolving development environment
HM ADD:
- Configure/Tune/Troubleshoot JEE Application on platform hosted on WebLogic, Web Servers and Proxy Servers
- Troubleshoot and manage Application environment
- Install, deploy, size, scale, and manage Fusion Middleware WebLogic, SOA Suite 11g, Web Center, Fusion IDM/OAM
- Experience on Fusion Applications foundation is a big Plus
- Good working experience in of Oracle databases
- Good working knowledge of Unix, or Linux
- Tuning experience on JVM, Threads, Data sources
- Knowledge of JMS, AQ/MQ, JDBC implementation
- Experience on Oracle SQL, PL-SQL Web Services, XML, XSL, XSD, XQuery, XPATH, WebLogic, Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), database , Java/JEE are key skills, Tuning JVM, WebLogic Internals and Security.
