Title: BI Project Manager
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 6 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Positions: 1

Duties:

·         Define project scope, goals, deliverables and organization in collaboration with business team.

·         Manage project development from end to end of upto 3 Business Intelligence projects(scope, cost, issues, risk & schedule)

·         Set and continually manage project expectations of with team members, project sponsors and business & IT leadership.

·         Project Communication – ensures all stake holders are aware of the progress through project meetings, status reports and milestone reviews.

·         Staff management – monitors the performance of all resources assigned to project. Takes appropriate action to motivate and manage.

·         Product Quality – ensures appropriate design, code and test quality standards are followed in the development of the solution.

·         Manages turnover of project to post production as a Project Requirement.

·         Liaison with external vendors as part of the project organization.

·         Conduct and support presentations at key milestones in accordance with the methodology.

Skills:

·         Knowledge and experience in Project Estimation Techniques for Application Development Projects – preference to BI.

·         Proven experience with project planning and control – in application development projects – preference to BI.

·         Understanding and experience in BI development in the area of Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Enterprise Reporting and Dashboards.

·         Understanding and experience in quality control processes needed in Application Development projects.

·         Strong communication skills – written and verbal.

·         Strong demonstrated Project Management and Control Skills.

·         Good understanding of System Development Methodologies.

·         Strong system analysis and design skills.

·         Strong relationship building skills.

         ·         Must be PMP certified.
