Position: Web Developer

Location: Sacramento CA

Duration: 1+ year to long-term position

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·        Experience developing web-based applications using Visual Studio .NET.

·        Ability to develop and support web programming languages, specifically C# and JavaScript.

·        Understands web based technologies such as ASP.NET and WPF.

·        Proficient with web markup such as HTML, CSS, and XAML.

·        IIS web site administration duties to include site and server setup, installing required patches, etc.

·        Web site monitoring functions are necessary to detect and eliminate any attacks on the website.

·        Ability to build Web Services to support interfaces to partner agencies (District Attorney's office, etc.)

·        Ability to build and support web applications that interface to RDMS systems using ADO.NET

·        Ability to work in a team development environment using a source control system.

OTHER DESIRABLE SKILLS:

·        Development of stored procedures; understanding of Transact SQL for Microsoft SQL Server.

·        Able to design online forms using Adobe Professional.

·        Familiar with various data transport protocols including SFTP, XML, JDXDML, NIEM

·        Familiarity with secure internet communications.

·        Ability to support legacy development projects written with Cold Fusion.

·        Able to extend and support online reporting system using MS SQL Server Reporting Services.

·        Able to create and support SQL Server processes using SQL Server Integration Services.

·        Able to effectively document project requirements and system support information.

·        Familiar with mapping applications, especially ESRI products.

·        Experience in Windows environments is preferred.

·        Understanding of networking principles.

·        Ability to analyze system resource usage and constraints.

·        Recognizes problems, develops recommendations and solutions within assigned specialty.

·        Works independently and follows through on assignments.
