Minimum of 8-10 years of IT experience in an application development environment.
6+ years of experience in designing/leading the conceptual, logical and physical design for distributed databases (OLAP, OLTP).
3+ years of experience in driving the Meta data architecture and master data management (MDM) solutions.
4+ years of experience in performing analysis and high level design for data management projects.
4+ years of experience implementing bulk and real-time data integration solutions.
4+ years of working experience in database partitioning, compression and encryption advanced techniques.
Considerable experience leading multi-site and/or offshore development teams.
Considerable experience working on large scale, enterprise wide projects.
Experience with various software estimation techniques.

Expertise in database and query performance tuning advanced methodologies and techniques.
Demonstrate strong knowledge in Data Warehouse concepts, Industry trends and best practices
Strong understanding of activities within primary discipline such as master Data management(MDM) and Data Governance(DG).
Demonstrate strong understanding of contemporary architectures, design patterns, best practices, and programming techniques around relational modeling, dimensional modeling and data integration.
Mandatory Functional Skills/Role Description :-
The Manager, Data Management is an evangelist in data management domain, well versed in the industry trends and techniques around Enterprise Information Management discipline(Modeling, EDW, MDM, ODS, Meta Data Management, DAAS etc. ) and lead the technical teams in defining and implementing technology best practices, standards, tools and methodologies. This person will lead requirements analysis, data architecture, estimation, standards development/enforcement, and ensure alignment and guide the organization towards strategic goals. The Manager, Data Management will be responsible for leading the data management center of excellence. He/She may function as a data architect for projects and will serve as a Leader, spending significant time coaching and mentoring technical team members.
