Role : SAP Project Manager
Job Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 12 months contract
Required Skill set:
5-7 years of proven experience in Project Management
Must have Experience in SAP.
Expert with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Handled large scale software development / rollouts
Ability to work across teams to get results
Assist the Strategy and Planning Team to manage the Project Portfolio and Plan of Action
Ability to track, maintain and prioritize the Planning queue
Assist with the coordination and gathering sizing estimates from all the impacted teams as project sizing requests come into the organization
Proactively works with subject matter experts within the IT portfolios, and other IT Orgs to drive closures on open project sizing requests.
Ability to engage and communication with our IT partners to understand and solicit information regarding project requests, e.g. scope and requirements.
Possess high level understanding of projects submitted into a Portfolio and be able to identify, leverage opportunities and high level technology needed
Ensure that all key stakeholders are communicated to in a timely and detail manner
Assist with managing and tracking the Change Request queue and drive closures
Proactively seeks process improvement opportunities within the Planning and Operations processes
Actively participates in Strategy and Planning discussions to drive a common direction in a fast paced and demanding environment
Assist in creating performance and metrics reporting to effectively support the team.

Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
Process-Oriented; follow-through
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Demonstrated Portfolio Management experience
Experience with MS Excel (Master Level)
Experience with MS Access (Intermediate Level)
Experience with SharePoint (Intermediate Level)
Demonstrated competence with reporting and metrics
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Project Management expertise.
