Position : Business Analyst 

Location : Springfield, MA

Duration : 3-6 Months

Financial BA with the Fixed Income Instruments and Derivatives

Client is looking for an experience Business Analyst from the financial services with experience in the traditional business analysis discipline as well as experience with process mapping and re-design.  Background with rating agencies and/or financial products is preferred.  This position is in New York City to work at our client location.

Major Job Objectives

Work as part of a larger project team to document the current state of an organization, architecture, and business processes.  Assist in maintaining project documentation including meeting minutes, diagrams and schematics, process maps.

Define project vision, features, and develop user stories

Desired Skills & Experience

Job Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as hands-on business analyst

Experience as a consultant is preferred but not required

Expertise with documenting requirements, functional specifications, process mapping, process re-design

Strong systems integration experience

Experience with data analysis, data programs

Expertise in relational data models, meta data a plus

Experience with Agile methodologies a plus

Demonstrated proficiency with Visio and Microsoft Office suite of products
