Relevant Experience (Yrs)
Overall 5+ years of experience
Technical/Functional Skills
· Identifying existing bugs, and specifying their repair.
· Developing some new queries, and reports.
· Acceptance testing of bug fixes and new reports.
· Documenting the existing systems and interfaces.
Specific Deliverables
· Strong debugging skills
· Strong analytical skills – especially related to system integration (interfaces, how to synchronize master data, how to ensure systems stay in synch)
· Ability to write SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data, and to prototype new production reports
· Ability to read VB6 and SQL2008 Stored Procs – to analyze what the current code is doing
· Experience with and understanding of Accounting – GL and AR transactions
· Strong written skills – to develop functional and technical specifications for code changes and new reports
· Collaborative work style – to work in an informal, interactive team environment
Nice to have:
Experience with Oracle applications – GL and AR module
Roles & Responsibilities
• Gather and document business requirements and use cases.
• Create functional test scripts and perform system testing to ensure the system adheres to its design, standards, as well as its usability and ability to meet business needs.
• Perform data analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
