DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
This individual will have responsibility for implementing business solutions and providing support for the Global SAP system with focus on Finance, Controlling and Joint Venture Accounting.
Responsibilities may include:
The SAP Analyst will be responsible for:
-Provide business solutions and support for the Global SAP system with focus on Finance, Controlling and Joint Venture Accounting.
-Assist in the support of other financial modules (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables and Asset Management).
-Create functional specifications for development requirements
-Help Desk support
-Maintain support team documentation
-System configuration
-Functional integration testing
-Implementation projects
-Other tasks related to SAP financial modules
Preferred:
-Solid experience in Oil & Gas accounting and/or business experience
-2+ years SAP configuration experience primarily in the FI/CO/JVA modules
-Demonstrate in depth understanding of key business processes in the area of FI/CO/JVA, as well competencies in process and application design
-Previous experience implementing SAP IS-Oil JVA
-Customer focused and able to effectively communicate with a variety of groups
-Experience working with the business in documenting requirements and translating to system design and competencies in process and application design.
-Ability to translate business requirements into processes, and contribute to the development of how this will be supported in SAP
-Demonstrate success in designing and implementing complex technical and functional solutions, identify gaps, addressed the gaps with solutions
Position: Business Systems Analyst III
Location: Salem , Oregon 97301
Duration: 6 Months Contract

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
This position is in the ODOT Transportation Application Development (TAD) unit and requires the skills of both business and application systems analysis. The position will provide Systems Analysis III services in support of financial plans and projects within the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) implementation phase, post implementation support, and follow on warranty work.
In addition, the position will perform Pre Project analysis for a future project to replace PCS (Project Control System) and PDWP (Project Delivery Work Planning). A business case and study is required to frame up the new initiative, and discover the as-is business process.
Required:
-15 years+ experience in Systems analysis, application development and system support on large and small systems.
-15 years+ experience writing and executing test cases, writing software functional specifications, performing requirements management, data modeling, and business process modeling.
-Extensive experience in business and technical roles with multiple technical environments, technical tools, and data query languages
-Experience interviewing Business customers, and being able to write business case documentation
-Ability to generate and review all levels of project documentation (in both UML and non-UML notation), including requirements specifications, use cases (technical and business), design documentation, activity diagrams, functional and technical design specifications, test plans and test cases, and user documentation.
-Excellent communication skills
Desirable:
Prior knowledge of business Financial Forecasting and Allocation systems.
