Position: LOTUS NOTES ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Berlin, CT

Duration: 6 months

 

·         Administration of Lotus Notes Mail, Lotus Notes Hub / Lotus domino 6.x , 7.0 and 8.x (3-4 years) on Unix (AIX) platform

·         Familiarity with Notes architecture, Inbound and Outbound flow of mail and SPAM filtering

·         Expertise in installation, configuration, maintenance and administration of Notes Mail, Notes Hub, Notes LEI, Notes SMTP

·         Upgrade of Lotus Domino to latest version.

·         Experience in Installation, Replication, Mail Routing, Performance Tuning, Security.

·         Configuration of messaging gateway (SMTP), Notes Web security settings, authentication parameters and use of LDAP

·         Management of Notes Group, Mail-In Database, Notes Application, Mail Topology (Creations, deletions, updates, replica creations, replication issues, ACL alignments, connection documents)

·         Familiarity with Domino Clustering, Mail DB backup and restore

·         Experience in BlackBerry Enterprise Server implementation and support

·         Experience with QuickR, Traveler, Sametime configuration and troubleshooting.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Design, implement Lotus Notes and Notes Address Book and related software services.

·         Design and implement policies and standards for all in-scope Messaging Services (such as Blackberry (including Sametime on Blackberry) or other Smart Phones (iOS, Android, Nokia and Windows Mobile), Traveler, Quickr, SMTP services, iNotes via Internet and Intranet, Lotus Notes, and Lotus Notes Address Book LDAP.

·         Design and implement internal Client's e-mail usage policies (e.g., Cleanmail, Diskquota, Archiving).

·         Design and implement a directory integration strategy.

·         Install, upgrade, and support all messaging services (e.g., IBM Lotus Domino (server), IBM Lotus Notes (client), Notix, Oracle iPlanet, Sametime, Quickr, Notes Traveler, and Lotus Mobile Connect).

·         Monitor Infrastructure, Provide Infrastructure customizations, Provide support to application developers.

·         Coordinate Infrastructure outages with Product Centers and other Infrastructure areas, Troubleshooting Technical Issues.

·         Design and develop user training materials (i.e. content specific materials).

·         Support custom interface with Content Manager that is used for the Records Information Management (RIM) application

·         Provide database management (e.g., correspondence, Rolodex, program binders, custom applications, access control management).

·         Design, develop and implement procedures for managing Messaging Services and e-mail usage.

·         Design and implement messaging account administration process and systems (such as Terminal Services, secure shell [ssh]).

·         Provide evaluation and testing support for maintaining lab environment for messaging testing, rebuilding, as required, recommending and deploying messaging service Software.

·         Evaluate and test compatibility and integration of new products or standards, architecture, and design with existing infrastructure and applications.

·         Provide technical administration support

·         Daily calls with offshore resources

·         Coordinate and report sharing with offshore resources

 

Role:

·         Implement Design, Development, Validation and Support activities in line with architecture requirements

·         Production Support : Respond to the issues assigned, do analysis, participate in estimating the effort needed to implement solution or work around, suggest / implement work around, communicate to all the stake holder and close the issue as per the agreed timelines in order to ensure support availability as per agreed SLAs

·         Interact with client senior leadership and SMEs to understand the requirement, expectations and articulate value of Infosys Solution.

·         Providing thought leadership and driving client long range plans and roadmap

·         Analyzing and troubleshooting complex business and technical issues

·         Ensuring operational and system documentation is created and maintained.

·         participate in Knowledge Management activities with the objective of ensuring the highest levels of service offerings to clients in own technology domain within the guidelines, policies and norms

·         Participate in the estimation of work product in order to provide right information to TL/PM for overall project estimation

·         Monitor Strategic Goals and Strategic Initiatives Governance - Unit : Generate & consolidate data in order to provide inputs for tracking goals
