REQUIREMENT DETAILS:

Title                 : NetBackUp Engineer

Job Location   : Newark, DE

Duration         : Long term

As an integral member of the CIS Storage Implementation Engineering Team, you will design build and integrate NBU and Datadomain technology to provide a strategic replacement for the existing FalconStor environments providing a robust resilient infrastructure solution. As part of the project, design and implement strategic BACKUP storage infrastructure solutions, including integration with third party software and hardware.

Strong Symantec Net Backup experience.

Strong problem solving, time management and org skills.

Minimum 10-12 years of experience with large scale BACKUP deployments with 500+ servers.

Hands on Unix/Linux/Windows System Administration Experience.

Hands on experience with VMWare Server Virtualization.

Client and team relationship/interaction skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Understanding of business continuance and disaster recovery architecture in large global enterprise.

Serve as technical liaison with BACKUP L4 engineering, project managers, system administrators, database and application teams during all phases of the project, from design through implementation.

Develop and prepare solution designs and operational documentation required to support engineered solutions to production support teams.

Interface with engineering, production support and vendors to identify technical and practical solutions applicable to the business needs.
