Job Title: .Net Developer

Location- Montgomery, Alabama

GC and USC only.

Brief Job details:

 Strong understanding of C#, application architecture and object-oriented design

Strong understanding of .NET 4.0 and the Microsoft technology platform

Strong understanding of ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web Forms development

Strong understanding of SQL Server and at least one ORM (e.g., LINQ to SQL, NHibernate)

Solid foundation of JavaScript and a major JavaScript framework  jQuery

Solid foundation of semantic HTML and CSS

Solid foundation of .NET Web services (ASP.NET Web Services, WCF)

Knowledge and advocate of best practices (standard naming conventions, architecture) and SOA Principles

Knowledge and an advocate of Agile Development (SCRUM project management, OnTime)

Perform as well as mentor fellow developers

Specific Skills:

- Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 / 3.5 / 2.0

- Strong programming skills in C# and SOA experience

- Good experience in web development using ASP. Net, C#, MVC 3/4, WCF/Web Services (SOAP/REST) ,Razor Engine

- Well versed in JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, HTML, XML, XSLT, JSON, Jquesy Plugins, Widgets, Nuget Packages

- Well versed in SQL server 2005/2008/2010/2012

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Well versed with Visual Studio Development Environment

- Good knowledge of OOP concepts 
Optional Skills: MS

Duration: Current 8 month contract.  All contracts with the State of Alabama technically expire Oct 1^st of every year but more than likely will be renewed.
