Job Details:

Title: Supply Chain Business Analyst w/ SQL

Location: Ft. Worth, Texas

Duration: 12 months +

START DATE:  2/3/2014 

INTERVIEW:   phone screen; poss. face-to-face/Skype

Duties              

 Supports corporate, plants, affiliates, and intercompany organizations in designing, creating, publishing, data mining, data analysis and reports necessary to support the Global S&OP organization.  

Major Accountabilities:

·         Designs, creates, analyzes, and executes reports necessary to support the S&OP organization

·         Develops and maintains global data repositories for purposes of the global reporting of data

·         Creates specific ad hoc reports to support the global supply chain upon request

·         Expertise in SQL, Visual Basic, MS Excel, MS Access, Cognos (Query Studio), ODBC access tool, AS/400 (source data), Showcase, and Essbase

·         Full Understanding of supply chain processes and concepts

·         Understanding of JDEdwards and SAP enterprise applications

Skills              Candidates MUST HAVE business analysis skills

·         Ability to collect business user requirements and translate them into technical specifications

·         Ability to coordinate and prioritize business user requests and deliver results

·         Ability to develop/maintain global data repositories

·         Ability to analyze/understand supply chain data from various sources

·         Ability to create global reports necessary to support the global supply chain organization

·         Demonstrate expertise in MS Access, MS Excel, SQL Cognos (Query Studio), ODBC access tool, AS/400 (source data), Showcase, and Essbase Strong background in building scalable, maintainable, high-quality and high-performance database management systems.

·         Must have great troubleshooting and analytical skills.

·         Strong expertise in SQL database architecture and design required.

Education          

·         Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or Engineering Fluency in English essential
