Mandatory Technical Skills  :-
▪ Solaris System Administrator responsible for executing daily service delivery of planning, organizing, evaluating, troubleshooting, installing and tuning of multiple large Solaris systems in a centralized data center environment.
 ▪ Responsible to support Customer specific Security policies and procedures including full User access support, support for internal and external audits and compliance testing.
 ▪ Extensive experience in Solaris security patching , OS versions upgrade like U6 to U9 or U10 upgrades.
 ▪ Strong understanding and comprehension of ITIL fundamentals
 ▪ Proficient with Zones and Container configuration, administration and maintenance
 ▪ Sun Cluster administration and experience.
 ▪ Experience with large scale EMC storage arrays utilizing a multi-tiered, multi-fabric, multi-path fibre channel environment of Cisco 9509 MDS switches.
 ▪ Disaster recovery experience including data replication technologies
 ▪ Operating system and third party application software Patching and customized scripting skills
 ▪ Strong knowledge of Solaris OS fundamentals
 ▪ Practical experience in Jumpstart Installation, Solaris Volume Manager (SVM), Veritas Volume
▪ Manager(VXVM), NFS, performance monitoring utilities and other core UNIX commands
 ▪ Solid understanding of disk system concepts (RAID design, LUN creation, data replication) is needed
 ▪ Experience writing scripts and procedures for day-to-day operations
