Position : Java Enterprise Infrastructure Architect
Location : Woodland Hills, CA (Need Local)

Duration : 6+ Months

Job Description

·         Identify product needs and potential enhancements, design, develop and implement software applications and solutions

·         Provides architectural vision to appropriately align IT to strategic business needs and goals.

·         Maintains an ongoing partnership with the business to apply in-depth knowledge of the business operations, strategies, priorities and information requirements to establish the technical direction and an enterprise view.

·         Defines enterprise level strategies and technical direction.

·         Defines the system, technical, and application architectures, and in some instances the business systems/process architecture for major areas of development.

·         Researches, evaluates and selects from existing and emerging technologies the options best fitting business and IT strategic needs.

·         Manages multi-project management accountabilities in developing and architecting solutions in a collaborative environment.

·         Oversees the design and delivery of proofs-of-concept for new or improved enterprise-wide technologies that are used across multiple areas of the business.

·         Architects solutions across multiple hardware/software computing environments and system components.

·         Should be excellent in communication and to be able to interact with Senior leadership team with technical solutions.

·         Collaborate with product managers, QA, services, support, and operations

·         Plot architecture evolution roadmap, design critical components, and drive end-to-end deployment.

·         Provide leadership, mentorship and advisory services to IT and project teams to ensure that solutions are in line with the architecture direction and business strategies.

·         Team establishment and competency development.

·         Proficiency in the following:

a. Expert in building J2EE based systems including Enterprise Java Beans, JMS, and Web Services
b. Relational database and SQL experience (SQL queries, procedures/functions, performance tuning)
c. Experience with multiple application servers.
d. Experience in Unix/Linux
e. Experience in C/C++.
