Job Title: Business Data Analyst
Location: Maryland/DC
Duration: 6+ Months
Requirements:
Ø Provide data requirements analysis support
Ø Provide source system natural key identification support for the target data model
Ø Provide support in the creation and validation of data element source-to-target mappings
Ø Provide data profiling analysis using data profiling tools and SQL
Ø Support information gathering and assessment activities
Ø Support documentation creation and review activities
Ø Perform detailed data analysis as needed
Ø Review existing documents that may contain requirements or background information
Ø Payer data background is required (3+ years)
Ø Strong SQL skills are required (ability to write advanced SELECT statements is a must)
Ø Proficient using query tools such as TOAD, SQL Navigator, etc.
Ø RDBMS experience including Oracle and SQL Server
Ø Support code mapping analysis and updates
Ø Support metadata population and updates including the business glossary
Ø Experience with navigating Facets tables a significant plus
Ø Data Profiling and requirements interpretation/translation
Ø Familiarity of Informatica
