Test Lead
- Has overall responsibility to ensure that testing is successfully planned and completed for all assigned projects/release.
- Manages project and release timelines
- Responsible for ensuring an adequate testing window in coordination with application groups
- Responsible for preparing High Level Test Cases (HLTCs) / Scenarios
- Works with clients and the PMO to ensure that all requirements are provided to support testing efforts.
- Facilitates external walkthrough and review of test plans, HLTCs and DTCs, as well as any ad-hoc meetings between testing personnel and the client/PMO concerning any testing matters
- Develop the “Execution Communication Plan” which lays out the bridges, q chats and resources which will support each bridge. Communicates the plan to all impacted parties and ensure implementation.
- Communicates testing status to the PMO, leadership, test manager
- Responsible for creating the weekly Execution Plan (number of DTC’s to start and complete per week) prior to the start of execution.
- Identify all dependencies / risks / issues for test planning and execution and mitigate them.
- Defect management and metrics reporting
- Post implementation review and recommendations
