Job Description:

Candidates should possess the ability to work self directed and be capable of design, implementation and documentation for Enterprise Application Software Development. Also the candidate should be able to work with the existing teams and stake holders , understand requirements and translate it to offshore team. Candidate should participate in live demos to international customers and communicate effortlessly to various developers in India and USA.

Required Skills:

·         Core Java with proven track record of realizing systemic qualities of enterprise software design.

·         JEE5/JEE6 experience on any platform 

·         Create Quick System prototypes and evaluating Software Architecture

·         Unit testing (TestNG or Junit)

·         continuous integration ( Jenkins or Teamcity )

·         Maven

·         Linux

·         Source control ( GIT  , SVN , VSS )

·         Expert in at least a RDMBS  ( MySQL / PostgreSQL or Oracle ) and Database programming, and modelling.

·         Performance Tuning of Enterprise application ( At least 2 applications servers : JBOSS/WebLogic )

·         Debugging Skills – Able to identify  issues occur in a iterative product quickly and direct team with proper inputs

·         Web HTML Client Scripting Language Expertise : JavaScript / Jquery

·         Ability to work in extreme agile environment to meet short , quick deadlines with motivated young engineers, communicating the progress of the technical architectural growth of the product in a monthly manner to program management and customer.

·         Understand distributed computing and communication concepts

·         Perform analysis and design of object-oriented software systems

·         Use UML notation for modeling object-oriented systems

Nice to haves:

·         GRAILS

·         WebService: SOAP or REST

·         Any Datacenter experience or Lab Experience with network element interactions for 1-2 years hands on.

·         Business Component Development with EJB

·         Hibernate/JPA experience

·         Swing

·         Web Development including Servlets or JSF

·         Dependency Injection (Spring, Guice or CDI)

·         Mock testing via EasyMock or PowerMock.

·         HTML & JavaScript

·         Serialization technologies:

·         JAXB

·         JSON

·         Cable industry experience

·         Interacting with embedded devices.

·         TCP and/or HTTP
