Job Description:NEED TO WORK ON OUR W2 OR 1099
- Work independently on high-profile projects with the potential to lead several senior developers.
- Provide extensive customer interaction and substantial written reporting due to the involvement of project meetings and code development activities involving multiple stakeholders.
- Develop new code (e.g., JCL, REXX, CLIST, Control-M) as required.
Job Requirements
- Proven senior-level technical and application development knowledge of IBM Mainframe applications with extensive programming experience using JCL, DB2, REXX, CLIST, COBOL, Control-M, Dialog Manager, File-AID, SQL, TSO/ISPF
- Well versed in IBM System Utilities with prior experience with Systems Development
- Proven Project Management skills and ability to lead small teams
- Proven experience with analysis, documentation, development, testing, and implementation
- Senior-level DB2 (SQL) programming experience to enable analysis of code written by others
- Excellent customer relations, and verbal and written skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated individual; team player who can adapt to changes in customer requirements
- Experience in IBM z/OS (OS/390/MVS) application development, production control, and job scheduling
- Experience developing and maintaining JCL and related entities for application software systems
- Experience in industry accepted SDLC practices.
