Technical/Functional Skills

·         Use ASP.Net MVC (as specified in Phase 1) as the UI framework.

·         Use ASP.Net MVC Razor to implement the display

·         Only use Java Script and HTML5 for the UI implementation and rendering

·         Use Telerik Kendo (Jscript/HTML5) for the UI controls

·         Avoid using Flash, Silverlight, Java, and any other similar custom technologies

·         Use JSON for data packaging form between the browser client and the web server

·         Client uses AJAX to communicate interactively with the server

·         Use WCF to communicate with the Application Server.

·         Service contract and data contract will be defined following the display requirements

·         Use TCP/IP binary binding for delivery performance as well as security requirements

·         Make use of data caching in the web server to avoid unnecessary trips to the application server

·         Use Role-based Security to control the user available interaction

·         Use local preferences for display without login requirement, such as the Driller’s Display

·         Use user preferences for display with login requirement, such as MWD’s Display

·         Use theme and style sheet (CSS) to allow for display customization

Roles & Responsibilities

·         Use Scrum SDLC:

·         Two-week sprint cycle

·         Twice a week standup meeting

·         Use Source Code Version controls – TFS

·         Our TFS server is in Houston, need to verify the connection

·         Work Item to be linked with the Backlog

·         Use Test/Mock-up modules to complement the MP-DAS UI without waiting for the completion of the MP-DAS application

·         Ability to work independently; lead small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects

·         Strong oral and written communication skills

·         Good Analytical skill, Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

·         Eagerness to mentor junior team members

·         Proficient use of Power Point presentation tool, and MS office tools.  Proven writing skills for mass communication. Ability to document use cases, requirements and relevant technical documentation.

·         Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills

·         Knowledge of six sigma is added advantage

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
