Ruby Developer

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 6-12 months

Interview process: 2 Phone interviews

Responsibilities:         

·         To develop applications and automation tools with Scripting languages Ruby, PERL, Shell scripting and Cora JAVA.

·         Work on automating build tools and build process.

·         The candidate is expected to coordinate and work with multiple teams who manage UI, middleware and back-end code

·         Resource need to be ready to work on flexible timings during initial phase of project

·         Work and Define high level standards, best practices, processes and guidelines

Required Skills:          

·         Experience in developing applications and automation tools with Scripting languages - Ruby, PERL, Shell scripting and should have good experience on Core JAVA.

·         Should have exposure to GIT, Subversion and Stash maintenance and administration, preferably in a distributed development environment.

·         Very good communication skills

Preferred Skills:

·         Experience in build automation using ANT, Maven, NANT, IBM Build Forge, Hudson & Jenkins

·         Experience in tools like Puppet will be an added advantage

·         Any experience in JavaScript and JQuery will be advantage

·         Experience in DB programming and administration
